            The following are typical types of cases we handle (listed in priority):

1.Victims of domestic violence / family abuse / crime
2.
Safety issues involving  minors
3.
Divorces involving recent (i.e. within 1 year) family violence
4.
Denial of essential government benefits
5. Illegal lock-outs
6. Loss or impairment of fundamental Constitutional rights 
7. Evictions (particularly subsidized housing)
8. Defense of collection actions which threaten exempt income or assets
9. Establishing / enforcing maintenance

Note: All child support / paternity cases are referred to the
Child Support Enforcement Unit at the Department of Social Services in Glenwood Springs at 945-9191.)

We generally will not consider the following types cases:

1. Fee generating
2. Criminal (including expungement)
3. Client’s main objective is money damages.
4. Child support and paternity (which are referred to the Dept. of Social Services - see above)
5. Other cases where clients have access to free legal representation

6. Workers' Compensation/Disability Cases - - <---This Attorney does handle Work Comp.
